Borghesani Memorial Fund) This letter is to set forth the terms'on which the Trustees of Public Trusts agree to hold the trust fund the Lexington High School Class of 1985 and others have established in memory of Anne Elizabeth Borghesani: 1. The Trustees will hold and invest the fund as part of the common trust funds administered by them for the benefit of the Town of Lexington. January 16, 1991 2. Net income from the fund shall be paid as follows: (a) Each year the trustees shall award a prize to be known as the Anne E. Borghesani Memorial Prize in the amount of three - fourths of the net income of the fund. Remaining income from the fund shall be added to the principal. (b) To be eligible, a potential recipient must meet the following criteria: (1) Be a woman in the 7i74::::0Lexingtoni-A r iii h School • • • (ii) Have selflessly, ent husiastically, andfr creatively served both Lexington High School - and her own community including participation. in volunteer activities which help people in need; (iii) Have demonstrated aspects of Anne's character as set forth in the statements written about Anne by Anne's high school classmates on file in the Lexington High School Principal's office as well as in the office where applications for the Prize may be obtained. Borghesani Memorial Prize shall apply (by submitting an application with a written personal statement, a recommendation from one Lexington High School faculty member, and a recommendation from one community member), to a selection committee consisting of at least two members of the Lexington High School Class of 1985 approved by the class officers as long as there are two members willing and available; at least one member of the Borghesani family as long as there is a member willing and available; the Lexington High School faculty member serving in the capacity of advisor to the senior class; and the principal, or person having the responsibility of principal, of Lexington High School or his or her designee. The determination of the selection committee shall be final. (d) If in any year no qualified students, or no students, apply for the Anne E. Borghesani Memorial Prize, the selection committee may choose a student based on advice from the Lexington -High School faculty and members of the greater Boston community; otherwise, the amount of the award for that year shall be added to the principal of the fund.
