Meeting minutes April 14, 2005

The assignment of inventory areas was discussed with the aid of the large scale
mark-up maps, and it was agreed that "grid north" (or "up" on the map) will be
deemed north. The following division was agreed to:
Area 1: Frank Cavatorta:
West of Rte 128 and South of Rte 2, and including East Lexington
south of Mass. Avenue from Pleasant Street to the Arlington line.
Area 2: John Davies:
South of Mass. Avenue from Rte 128 to east of Pelham Road, then
through open land to south end of Bowman School, including
Wellington Lane, then along boundary of Area 1.
Area 3: Jerry van Hook:
Grant St. from Mass. Ave to Burlington line, then easterly and
southerly along town lines of Woburn,Winchester, &Arlington
to Mass. Avenue, then along Mass. Avenue to Grant St.
Area 4: Marianne Lazarus: ial,tbk.�
South along Adams St. to Hancock St., then across open land to
Minuteman Bikeway, then west along Bikeway to Rte. 128 and
boundary of Area 1.
Area 5: Susan Solomon: MIA tq,k, ,
South along Grant St. to Mass. Ave., the west along Mass. Ave. to
Rte 128 and boundary of Area 1, Rte. 128 to Bikeway, then
easterly along Bikeway, including Lois Lane, then across open
land to corner of Hancock and Adams, then north along Adams
to Burlington line.
These areas may be adjusted as the process proceeds,but they are intended to
put each person more or less in his/her home area, and to roughly equalize
density of streets.
It was agreed that both the maps and some sort of a blank spreadsheet will be
utilized to record data. The extent of the data to be recorded was discussed at
length, and each member will try to produce an outline of a usable blank
spreadsheet for the next meeting.
Next meeting: Thursday, April 21 from 4:00 PM to roughly 6:00 PM, in Room 111
of the Town Office Building, if it is available. John Davies will confirm by email.
