Sidewalk Committee
Meeting
February 27, 2006
Present: Wayne Brooks Lisa Baci,Maryann Lazarus, and Francine Steiglitz
Meeting called to order at 11 am.
Once again we committed to work on filling in the plan that will describe the current
situation in Lexington for pedestrians identify deficiencies and recommend actions to
make Lexington a more enjoyable place to walk.
Physical inventory–Wayne will pursue measurement of lengths of existing sidewalk
Other paths
Conservation-Lisa will contact Laura Cecere and conform what information is
available
Bicycle paths—Who will contact Jerry Van Hook to understand where they are
and who has responsibility for them?
Walking Easements–Jeanne will ask Maryann McCall Taylor,what, if any
information is available
Policies and regulations
Material from other communities will be copied and placed in Selectmen's office.
Did Marianne agree to review available information and fill in more?Jeanne will contact
Barbara Lucas and find out what, if any information MAPC has.
