Meeting Minutes
April 9, 2010
Present: Albert Zabin, Gerald McLeod, Joseph O'Leary, Bob Kent, Linda Vine, Fuang-
Ying Huang, Emily Lavine, Puran Dang, Richard Capron and guest Art Katz.
Police Dept. reported that some of the anarchist groups in Boston, the pro Palestinian
groups, anti-gay groups and others may be coming to Lexington on Patriots' Day. And,
Sarah Palin will join the Tea Party protest at Boston Common on April 14th
The committee discussed if changes can be made peacefully and without violent. Does
the Reenactment invite/provoke groups such as Westborough Baptist Church to come to
Lexington? Some committee members feel that the reenactment and Patriots' Day parade
are Lexington traditions, and there will be protest with or without it.
Action items:
• Responsible parties for event tasks to meet before next meeting to discuss and
coordinate task(s) assigned
• Linda will send group e-mail with phone numbers
• Bob will write to Senator Kerry to see if he is interested in participate in the event
Next meeting is scheduled on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. in Room 207.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 am.
