The Town shall have a Town Celebrations Committee to consist of 12 voters of the Town. Members
of the Committee shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen. Four members shall be appointed
each year for three-year terms. Terms shall expire on June 30, except that members shall continue
in office until their successors have been appointed and qualified. Vacancies shall be filled by the
Board of Selectmen for the balance of unexpired terms.
21) 1.6 Powers and duties.
The Committee shall be charged with planning and carrying out the proper observance of April 19
and of all such holidays and special events as the Selectmen may designate from time to time.
