Minutes for February 12, 2003
Present: Marshall Derby, David Eagle, Donald Nilson, William Hays, and
Gerald Howell
The minutes were approved as read.
The sale of Nuzzey unit 116 was closed on January 29 at $204,461.76. The
money was invested in Fannie Mae at 4% for five years.
The Treasurer's report was accepted as read.
Edna Street the wiring, heating and plumbing are being worked on. The road
is expected to cost $13,000. We have spent $74,241.57 so far.
It was suggested that a party be held in May to thank the Minuteman Tech
students and Rotary.
Franklin School The negotiations continue. Community Builders want to
meet with the Selectmen.
Rangeway We can't build two units on that parcel without a Local Initative
Comprehensive pe rmi t.
Marshall was contacted about buying the Christian Science church. We can't
afford it.
Joan is on vacation until April 4.
There was a discussion about possible tenants for Bedford Street.
