Gerald Howell, Derby
The May and June minutes were approved.
The Treasurer's report was approved.
Laura Derby was elected an Honorary Member of LexHAB and ice cream and
cake were served in celebration.
Bill reported that we bought unit 109 at Parker Manor.
LexHAB will pay to have some lead paint removed from outside our unit.
The CPA money for Parker Manor is being processed thru the Town.
Lester reported that Lexington Gardens is under agreement. They plan
to build ten single family houses.
There is nothing new to report on the Busa farm land.
Laura Derby found the information on META, and Bill reported they had
agreed to original terms.
Norman reported that he was visited by Trustees from Muzzey Condo, with
the report from the architect about the work needed for Muzzey and about
a request to add the assessment on to selling price. Bill suggested
we not be involved and the Board agreed. Bill Kennedy suggested that they
keep the 5% and cover improvements. Bill asked Lester and Don to report
in September on the market value of a Muzzey unit as compared to other
units in Town.
Bill K., Martha, and Bob Bicknell interviewed three people for Town
survey and have signed an agreement with Karen Sonneburg. We expect an
report in mid-September on other Town's experience.
November 1 is deadline for CPA funds. Bob Bicknell has suggested we build
a reserve to buy Kathdin Woods and future purchases. Bill H. and Martha
will work on it.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 10.
The Board agreed to go into executive session and do not intend to go
back into regular session, it was unanimously voted by roll call.
Respectfully submitted,
Joan M. Wall
