Minutes for June 25, 2008
Present:William Hays, David Eagle, Martha Wood, Lester Savage, Gerald Howell,
Donald Wilson, and Norman Cohen
An offer was made to purchase Unit 109 Parker Manor for $271,000. Bill Kennedy
moved to buy the unit, it was seconded by Gerry Howell, the Board so voted.
The rules we choose tenants by is not approved by 40B rules. It cannot be
for the greatest need. Bill suggested we lease a unit then sublet or buy and
lease and go before the State with plan for approval.
Brown Street--Bill will call and say we will look for a nearby lot.
Lexington Gardens--Lester said there is 12 or 14 acres and is under agreement.
Survey report--there is $25,000 tohire a consultant. There are three people
to be interviewed. Bill Kennedy and Martha will co-chair committee.
Bill wants our operating financials on a computer and a property manager.
Bill K, Gerry and Dave will define roll for manager.
The Board voted again to confirm to the Housing Partnership that we do not have
any interest in St. Bridget's house.
Emerson Gardens will have a special assessment to pay off heating bill.
Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
