Minutes for May 13, 2008
Present: William Hays, Gerald Howell, David Eagle, Donald Wilson, Norman
Cohen, and Robert Bicknell
The minutes were approved as read.
The Treasurer's report was approved as read.
Bob Bicknell from the Lexington Housing Partnership came to discuss the scope of
Affordable Housing Survey and discussed bids.
Aaron Henry says it is the Planning Department's responsibility to have our
units on the 40B list. We can have a general pool and local connection, which
can be bypassed in an emergency situation.
Board members went to look at a Parker Manor unit that has been offered to us.
There will be further discussion about it.
Don reported that Emerson Garden has had to borrow from their Reserve Account
to pay for oil. There is going to be a special assessment, approximately six
months condo fee. Lisa Bitner was elected as a new trustee.
The Town is sponsoring a housing meeting on May 29.
There was a reminder that the CPA application is due on November 1, 2008.
Bob Bicknell said some towns put the money in a Housing Trust.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 17.
