Minutes for March 12, 2008
Present: William Hays, David Eagle, Gerald Howell,Donald Wilson and Patricia Nelson
The minutes were approved as read.
The Treasurer's report was accepted as read. Bill and Dave met with Schwab to
inquire about Bonds, Our bonds are staggered, but are being called now. We will
move the money into the MDT.
336/338 Bedford Street pipes and sump were set too low and running constantly. The
B-dry company returned to raise the pump to correct the situation.
Parker Manor- There is a need to remove lead paint in certain areas. A letter has
been sent to Urban Property Management explaining the situation, and explaining that
we would pay for the encapsulation. The Inspector's report was sent to Urban Mgt.
Bill Kennedy will call our new tenant and explain again that we don't allow animals
in our units.
Dave will ask Lester Savage to become a Board member.
The Tavilla family request that Sheryl's unit be put in trust, because of her diability.
She will have her rights, and the unit will be sold when she no longer occupies it.
It was so voted, and Pat will handle the details.
The owner of lot 59 on Arcola Street is giving the lot to the Town. It seems too
small to build upon, but Pat will look up the regulations.
Martha went to the Informational meeting for Town Meeting. Dawn McKenna wants a letter
from State saying our units at Parker Manor qualify for 40B.
Pat will speak to the Trustee at Emerson Gardens about reimbursement for damage done
to our units.
Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m.
