Minutes for Tuesday, March 13, 2007
Present: Donald Wilson, William Hays, David Eagle, Martha Wood, Marshall
Derby, Norman Cohen, and William Kennedy
Minutes were approved as read.
The Treasurer's report was approved.
There was a discussion about Busa Farm being put into Conservation, if
CPA funds are approved. Marshall suggested that we should get one housing
lot at the street, a duplex. We would need to apply to CPA for next year.
Bill will send a letter to Joyce Miller.
Marshall inform us that his appointment to the Board was up in May.
Bill discussed the Subsidy. That $10,000 Emergency Fund for Housing would
he set aside. There would be a sub -committee to respond to immediate requests.
There would be an annual report to LexHAB. Norman suggested we go with
the Lexington Fund/Human services. Bill will take our idea before the
Selectmen.
Gerry Abegg wants to know if we are still interested in developing a new
house at St Brigid"s, before he pursues it any further. The Board said yes.
Pat informed the representative from Community Builders that our position is
that they need to implement the agreements of three years ago. Pat hasn't
had any reply.
Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 24.
