Messrs Steeves, Cann, Burnham, Shanahan, Fmery and Spencer were
present.
Department bills were approved and signed for payment.
The Assessors signed the abatement slips at this meeting for
10 uncollected 1937 Poll Taxes which they approved at their last
meeting.
At the meeting of the assessors held March 26th, the Board voted
-to abate the 1939 taxes assessed to Patrick Malloy under Clause 18.
Part of the total amount submitted by the Tax Collector consisted of
an apportioned Street Betterment and Committed Interest item, so the
Assessors at this meeting sig .ed the abatement slips for the 1939
apportioned amount plus the int9rest charge.
