Childs 's garage property at" #389-409 Mass. Avenue was viewed by the Assessors and they voted to reduce the 1940 assessment from $35,700 to 327,400. Mr. Childs was notified that the total assessment was reduced -i8300. Mr. Walter H. Lennon of Arlington was notified that the"Board did not feel that his business property located at #121-125 Mass. Avenue was over assessed and that they voted that no change be made on the 1940 assessment. Mr. Edwin B. Worthen was notified by letter that the Board had reduced the assessment on Manuel P. Moniz 's double house assessment from $3000 to $2500. Also that the assessment. onthel H. Barker's house. at #98 Bedford Street had been reduced from 5000 to $4700. two and that was , Mr. Worthen wrote to the Board about these parcels why he was notified of the decision of the Board in regard to the new 1941 assessments..
