Messrs Steeves, Burnham, Emery and Spencer were present.

Commitment of Water Liens amounting to X196.22 was signed by
R - the three members.
•
Two Water Assessment Abatements authorized by the Selectmen
were abated by the members of the Board present. Amount abated
was $2.00:
Two State Forms ' to be returned to the Dept. of Corporations
and Taxation listing. the Massachusetts and Foreign Corporations
were signed by the -three members present. The 104 blue slips to
be returned also' to Commissioner Long listing their real estate,-
machinery, wires, poles and motor vehicle,-valuations were typed-
.on the corporation slips and signed by Mr. Spencer.
Commissioner Long's authority was received by the Assessors to
abate certain 1934, 1935, 1936 and 1937 real estate taxes and appor-
tioned sewer assessments and sewer interest for those same years, so
the Assessors at this meeting signed the four lists containing 'the
names and tax amounts.
Total amount abated on the 1934 levy was $202.85
Total amount abated on the 1935 levy was 0173.37
Total amount abated on the 1936 levy was 0145.38
Total amount abated on the 1937 levy was $169.07
The Assessors were informed that Town Treasurer Carroll had
recently foreclosed on various parcels of land owned by about 50
real estate property owners and as the 1939 real estate taxes were
outstanding on the Tax Coned-torts book the Assessors voted to abate, .
the various amounts.
Total amount abated being for -346.94.
