Mr. Spencer informed the Assessors p that ,in 1939 .he had
H. Irving Currier, Prop. of Countryside Inc. file on the equip-
ment, -machinery,..etc. in the bui_lding• 1r. ;Currier filed for

, The Curriers informed Mr. Spencer that they were a corpora-

The Board reconsidered the matter again and voted to_ reduee
the house assessment $$500. �� t
Letter from Arthur W. Freeman-, Treasurer of the Jefferson
Union Company, Inc. asking the Board to reduce the assessment on
their, property as of January 1st, 1940 was read and the 'Board
voted to reduce the assessment from $131940 to X10,000.
The Board considered Miss Johanna Kennedy's request for help
on her unpaid 1939 real !estat a tax bill. Mr. Spencer informed the .
Board t hat there was a, 01000 mortgage on the property, that one
half Of her double house has been unoccupied a good part of the
year.
, Miss Kennedy had her left arm amputated in 1939.
The Board after considering her case voted to abate one half
of her 1939 real estate tax bill.
The Board agreed to gaup and look at the inside of Marion R.
Coughlin's house located at 52 Dexter Road.
Mrs. Coughlin has entered her case with the Appellate Tax Board. .
The Bow d having looked at H. Dudley Murphy's property at 12 Sum-
mit Road voted at this meeting to reduce the assessment $3000, thus
granting Mr. Murphy an abatement of X106.50 on his 1939tax- bill.
The Board agreed to have Mr. Raymond Bond appear before them at
their next meeting.

Letter from Mr. T. Gregory Sullivan dated January 27, 1940 was
answered March 9;th, 1940 informing him of the decisions of• the Board
on the following five- parcels:
1. 1099 Mass. Avenue assessed to Inman Trust Company
2. 156 Lowell Street assessed to High Street Realty Corporation .
Medford Trust Company.'
3. 324 Marrett Road assessed to Medford Trust Company
4. Farmhurst Sec. . 1 Lot #1 on Marrett Road assessed to Medford Trust
Company.
5. 581 Marrett Road assessed to Highland Trust Company
The Board having looked at the above parcels and considered the
1939 assessments voted on the following valuation reductions:
