HELD AT THE HOTEL SHERATON, BAY STATE ROAD, BOSTON, MASS.
ON TUESDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 19, 1943.
The Members of our Committee present at this meeting
were as follows :
Lewis L. Hoyt, Chairman
Fred C. Newhall Carl E. Bryant
George M. Hynes Richard W. Maynard
Raymond L. White, Town Accountant
There was a delicious chicken dinner served at 7:00 P.M.
at a cost of 01.60 per plate.
The first speaker after the dinner was Albert F. Bigelow,
Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.
The second speaker was Mr. Searles from the Division of
Accounts. During his talk, Mr. Searles stated that the financial
year of the Commonwealth was from June 30th to June 30th. This is
a change made this year.
The next meeting of the Association of Town Finance
Committees is to be held around December 15, 1943.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
