Harper Blaisdell, _Chairman Richard H. Battin Robert M. Gary Frank T. Parrish,Jr. Mrs. RichardT. Souza Oscar R. Carlson Donald P. Noyes Logan Clarke, Jr. Raymond L. White, Sec. Available free cash as of November 3, 1964 is " $2i5,945.00." The Committee had a schedule meeting with the Board of Selectmen at 8:30 P. M. to go over the Twenty- Two Articles in the Town Warrent to be voted on at the Special Town eieeting to be held on the 23rd day of November . 1964 at 8:00 P. M. Article 1.- Committee Reports. 2.- Conservation Fund. This Committee recommends *3,000.00 transfer from Excess & Deficiency. 3.- Request for Authority to pruchase approximately 5 acres of land adjacent to Willards Woods. This Committee recommends favorable action. 4.- Request for transfer of land from jurisdiction:. of Selectmen to School Committee, This transfer is of financial interest tothe Town. In that by making this transfer certain state aid funds are made available for development of the grounds for playground and recreational pvRposee, 5.- Vote to authorize the Standing School Building Committee to enter into a contract for a new elementary school building. Appropriation Committee voted to indefinite postpone this article. 6.- Middleby Road School. Appropriation Committee recommends '1,1j.00.00and to be bonded for 20 years. 7.- Moreland Ave School. Appropriation Committee recommends 1,500.00 and to be bonded for 20 years. will receive 48.7% state Aid when contract is negotiated. 8.- Public Facilities on Buckman Park land. Appropration Committee make no recommendation. 9.- Final Plans for Public Facilities Building. Appropriation Committee recommends unfavorable action 10.- Request 46,500.00 for purchase of Lyonis Property Recommend 46,500.00 be transferred from E. & D. 11. Request 7,000. to reimburse sub divider for roads, drains, etc. Recommend 7,000,00 from E. & D. 12. Recruest 16,500.00 to allow installation of a water main in new Route 2 by- pass road. Appropriation Committee recommends 16,500.00 be transferred from Water Airailable Surplus. 13.- Town Barn Plans. -- Request 2,000.00 for preliminary plans. Appropriation Committee recommend 2,000.00 be transferred from Excess & Deficiency. 14.- Transfer of Land along Mass Ave to the Town in exchange for old Fire Station Site. Appropriation Committee recommends Favorable action. 494 Article 15.- Gift of Land - Lillian Road. Appropriation Committee recommends Favorable action. 16.- Change in By- Laws Distribution of Appropriation Committee reports. Amend by-Laws so that one report be sent to each family. 17.- Zoning by Law Chang¢, No recommendation. 18.- Naming and renaming new and existing public ways. appropriation made no recommendation. 19.- Payment of Medical Expenses- Police and Fire Town responsible for medical expenses for Police and Fire employees injured while In duty. Recommend a transfer of 5,000.00 from E. Article 20-21-22 Zoning by Law changes. Appropriation Committee make no recommendation. This Committee finally joined the Board of Selectman at their meeting and then went over the Articles with the Selectmen. Our meeting adjourned at 10:45 P. M. Respectfully submitted, Raymond L.
