The Appropriation Committee met Monday evening, January 21, 1963 at 7:30 P.
M. in the office of the Town Accountant.

Raymond L. White, Secretary Robert H. Kingston
The Chairman read letter received from Arthur E. Burrell, Director of Civil
Defense on two Articles recommended for inclusion in March Town Meeting
warrant, which are Warning System for $12,000 and Ventilation and Standby
Power Equipment for two fire stations, police station, and Cary Hall for
{ 12,000.
` The Chairman stated that remodeling of school building does not come under
State Aid.
The articles in the special Town Warrant were then considered:
Article 1 No recommendation
2 Recommended `>3,600,000 to be bonded for a period not to
exceed 20 years
3 No recommendation
Recommended 5490. "0 and to be raised in 1963 tax levy
" 5 Recommended $3,350.00 and to be raised in 1963 tax levy
6 No recommendation
7 Recommended $1.00 and to be raised in 1963 tax levy
Items in general were discussed and at 10:00 P. M. o'clock we adjourned.
