The Appropriation Committee met Monday evening February 19, 1962 at
8:10 P. M. in the office of the Town Accountant.
Present: J. Harper Blaisdell, Chairman
Raymond L. White, Temp.Sec. C. Roland Christensen
Logan Clarke Jr. Richard H. Battin
We proceeded to go over the budgets and the present figure of Article 4
is $7,019,350.39.
Article 5 — Town Clerk & Treasurer and Collectors total salaries is
$14,662.00.
Article o — Unpaid bills. We have one bill from the Board of Registrars
for $72. 50.
Article 9 — Reserve Fund. Going to ask 535,000.00, the same as this
past year.
Article 5 through Article 67 amounts to $1,779,561.00.
We are to meet next Monday nignt February 25th at 6:00 P. M. with the
Chairman of the Board of Assessors, Mr. Edward B. Cass, Chairman of
the School Committee, Mr. Sanborn C. Brown; Chairman of Cemetery
Commissioner, Mr. Gail W. Smith and Board of Selectmen. Tnis is in
pursuant to Article 13 of the General Laws of the Town.
Also this Committee is to meet on Thursday, February 22, 1952 at 9:00
P. M. to endeaver to complete the Appropriation Committee report.
The meeting adjourned at 11:00 P. M.
