The Appropriation Committee met at $:00 P. M. in the office of the
Town Accountant on June 5, 1961
Present: J. Harper Blaisdell presiding
Logan Clarke, Jr. Edward A. Palmer
Richard H. Battin Frank E. Douglas
John R. Bevin Maurice F. Shaughnessy
d The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as read.
The Agenda: (1) Special Town Meeting warrant.
(2) Discussion with Assessors re transfer for
Personal Services.
A general discussion of the Articles was held. At present we have
no figures on which to make recommendations for any article. It is
our opinion that not enough information has been furnished by the
Standing School Building Committee to justify the approval of any
amount for final plans and specs and the obtaining of bids for
construction.
The sense of the meeting as regards the proposed school at the
present time is:
A. Build the entire school at once 6
B. Hold for further information 1

Mr. Shaughnessy will present the first draft of our future programs.
The Assessors did not appear as scheduled.
The meeting adjourned at 9:45 P. M.
