A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the
Committee Room of Cary Memorial Hall on May 5, 1958 at
8:00 P. M.
Present were: Norman Richards
Munroe Hamilton Paul Buckley
Donald Colony Edward Palmer
and new members:
Howard Patterson Maurice Shaughnessy
The Warrant for the May 12th Town Meeting was discussed.
Mr. Grindle and Mr. Snow explained reasons for proposed
land purchases.
Voted: Article #1 - No recommendation
Article #2 - Favorable action $30,000 from Water
available surplus
Article #3 - Favorable action $28,900 from E & D
Article #4 - Unfavorable action
Article #5 - Unfavorable action
Article #6 - Unfavorable action
Article #7 - To be discussed May 8th when figures —
shall be available.
Article #8 - No recommendation
Article #9 - No recommendation, Committee has insufficient
information as to both
cost to Town and probable
receipts.
Article #10 - No recommendation
Article #11 - No Recommendation
The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 and will meet again on May
8th at Cary Lemorial Hall.
