The Appropriation Committee met in the Committee Room of Cary Mem-
orial Hall on September 2L., 1956, at 8 P. M. The Meeting was call-
ed by mail .
Present were:
William Madden, Chairman
Munroe Hamilton Donald Colony

Paul Buckley Edgar Bailey
Edward A. Palmer, Secy.
8:12 P. M. The Franklin School Addition Committee came to explain
the need for additional appropriations for the building. They left
at 9:25 P. M.
9:35 P. M. The School Committee arrived to discuss the Franklin
School Addition, Emergency School Transportation and Junior High
School Study. They left at 10:20 P. M.
The Committee voted the appropriation of $79,000.00 for the Franklin
School Addition: $19,000.00 to be transferred from Excess and De-
ficiency and $60,000.00 to be bonded.
The Committee voted the transfer of A1500.0O from the Reserve Fund
to the Fire Department Personal Services.
The Meeting adjourned at 11 :15 P. M. , and will meet October 1, 1956
at 7:15 P. M. , prior to the Special Town Meeting.
