A Meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in Cary Memorial
Hall Committee Room at 8 F. M. , on September 5, 1956.
Present were:
WilLiam Madden, Chairman
John Works Paul Buckley
Kenneth Blodgett Edward A. Palmer, Secy.
At the request of the Health Department, it was voted to transfer
X1.06 from Reserve to Dog Clinic.
A request for Veterans ' Services was tabled until further funds
are actually needed.
Requested Mr. Sheldon of the Fire Commissioners to visit and explain
the need for additional extra duty funds . Ile arrived at 9:07 P. M. ,
explained the request and left at 9:30 P. M.
The vote was postponed until the Committee meets again.
Adjourned at 9:50 P. M. No date was set for the next Meeting.
