A Meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held on October 17,
1955. at 8 P. M. in the Committee Room at Cary Memorial Hall .
Present were :
Donald Clark, Chairman
Kenneth Blodgett Wilfred Dwyer
William Madden Edgar Bailey
Norman Richards John Works
Edward Palmer, Secy.
Transfer of $193 .00 from Reserve Fund to Cary Library Expense
was voted.
Budget procedures were discussed and it was decided to drop
the Committee form of review and examine the budgets and re-
vert to t__e general Committee procedure.
It was agreed that the Planning Board may use the tape record-
er when necessary.
The Committee was requested to meet at 9:30 with the Selectmen
at the Selectmen's Office, and there heard the request of Mr.
Burns for the transfer of funds to the Water Services, Sewer
Services and Ashes and Dump Accounts.
Returning to the Committee Room at 10:15, the Committee voted
the transfer from Reserve Fund as follows :
Sewer Services $ 5,000.00
Water Services 5,000.00
Ashes & Dumps 3 ,000.00
$13 ,000.00
The Meeting adjourned at 10 :20 P. M. , no date being set for
the next meeting.
