A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held June 1,
1955 in the Conference Room, Cary Memorial Building, with
the following members present:
John Biggs, Chairman Pro-Tem
William Madden W.L. Dwyer
Kenneth Blodgett John D. Works
Edgar Bailey Edward Palmer, Sec.
Norman Richards
Donald T. Clark was elected Chairman for the coming term.
John M: Biggs was elected Vice Chairman.
The duties and responsibilities of the Committee were
discussed for the benefit of the new members.
Transfers from the Reserve were voted as follows :
Town Clerk Election Exp. 145.00
Selectmen 't It 328.03
The transfer of $136.15 for the Patriot 's Dar F'xnenses
was dbferred until a formal request has been received from-
the Selectmen.
The Town Meeting Warrant for the June Town Meeting was
discussed and it was decided to withhold any recommendations —
until further information is obtained.
The Chairman will be requested to have the Chairmen of
various boards meet with the Committee at the next meeting
which will be (tentatively) June 13, 1955 and furnish
figures on which we may base our recommendations.
Meeting adjourned 9:15.
