Fisher Jr. Robert R. Cave James V. MacDonald 'T Thomas Donnelly, Jr. Leslie C. Reed William Madden Frank D. Walker, Sec. A letter was read announcing Mr. Robert Person's resignation as chairman of the Recreation Committee and the election o f Mr. Ernest Crerie to fill this position. There will be a meeting on Oct. 20, 1954 of the Association of Town Finance Commissions to discuss the new schedule of dues. The request for a transfer of $2,000 for Sewer Maintenance was moved and voted for this purpose. The request for a transfer of P3,123 for Vocational Education Tuition was discussed. The amount of x'2,000 was moved and voted upon. The budgets for the Appropriation Committee are to be the same as last year. There will be a special Town Meeting November 22, 1954 for the schools. There will be a joint meeting with the Selectmen October 25, 195L Thomas Donnelly for the Fire Department - requests an aluminum ladder for the aerial truck to cost 17,000. Leslie C. Reed for the School Department - k86,000 & Pers . Serv. 9,500 & Expenses James V. MacDonald for the Police Department - not expecting any material changes. John Biggs for the Public Works Dept. - no increase in salaries expected. Robert Cave - Capital Expense - no change contemplated from report. Discussion followed relative to the use of young boys for traffic direction at schools. Discussion concerning three radiators in Cataloguing Room at the Cary Memorial Library costing P300. Discussion on format for new report - Winchester, Natick, Needham how do they figure per capita. Next meeting Oct. 27, 1954 at 7:30. Meeting adjourned at 10 :37. �cfull '�subta , � Secretary.
