A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the Conference
Room, September 20, 1954, with the following members present:
Gardner C. Ferguson, Chairman
John M. Biggs Leslie C. Read
Robert R. Cave Austin W. Fisher Jr.
James V. MacDonald Frank D. Walker, Sec.
The meeting was devoted almost entirely to the revision of our
report. Bud Fisher has done a wonderful piece of work and is to be
congratulated.
Voted: To send a letter reminder with reference to budget sheets.
The inspection of the new fire engine and social hour at Mr. Roeder's
will be held on Sunday afternoon, September 26th at 3: p.m.
Next meeting - October 18, 1954 - 7:30 P.M.
Meeting adjourned at 10:L10 p.m.

1954 with the following members present :

Robert 9. Cave Austin W. Fisher Jr.
Donald T. Clark James V. MacDonald
Thomas J . Donnelly, Jr. Leslie C. Reed
There was discussion on the theory of approach to our budget for
1955. ( Copy for consideration enclosed. )
At 9 :00 P.M. the School Committee, Personal Advisory Committee,
Mr. Frederick Gay and Mr. Raymond James came into the meeting
and an informal conference was conducted to ascertain what the
policy was going to be relative to salaries.
