ference Room in Cary Memorial :Building at 7:30 P . M. on Jahuary 18,
1954 with the following members in attendance:
Raymond W. James, Chairman
Leslie C . Read Gardner C. Ferguson
William Madden Austin W. Fisher, Jr. ,
Donald T . Clark John M. Biggs
Robert R. Cave
Frank D. Walker, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P . 17.
The minutes of the meeting held on January 11,1954 were accepted.
It was voted to accept the insurance report prepared by Bob
Cave with gratitude and forward a copy to the Board of Selectmen for
their consideration and that we suggest the recommendations be adopted
and further that the summary of the report become a part of our ann-
ual report.
School Committee came at 8:07 discussing their budget.
Mrs . Morey gave the Committee a detailed breakdown estimate of the
new School St. , School.
General Contract $533, 345.00
Site development 77, 655.00
Architect fees 49,000.00
Equipment 55,000.00
Contingencies 10,000.00
$725,000.00
School Committee left at 9 :45 P. M.
Recreation Co: .mittee carob in at 9:50 to discuss their budget.
Haven' t made their minds up relative to baseball field. Left at 10 :30.
Planning Board came in and Don Hathaway started the discussion.
Alan came later and gave auite a discussion. Left at 11 :30 P. M.
All the Interviews were recorded.
Meeting adjourned at 11:20 P . M
