A meeting of the Apnropriation Committee was held in the
Conference Room in Cary Memorial Building at 7:30 P . M. on January
11, 1954., with the following members in attendance.
Raymond W. James, Chairman
Leslie C . Read Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr.
William Madden Gardner C. Ferguson
Donald T . Clark Austin W. Fisher, Jr.,
Robert R. Cave John M . Biggs
Frank D. Walker, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P . M.
.tt The minutes of the meeting held on January 4, 1954 were
accepted.
A complete and excellent Insurance report was submitted
by Mr. Cave.
Harold Roeder and. his Board of Fire Commissioners came in
at 3 :05 to discuss their budgets for the current year. Left at 9 :15.
Board of Health came in and discussed their current budgets
and left at 9 :45.
Mrs . Dorothy Rich, Chairman of the Dental Clinic came in and
discussed their budget. Left at 10:05.
Chief Rycroft came in and went over his Police budget. Left
at 10 :15.
Meeting adjourned at 10 :56.
Recordings were made of all discussiones except insurance.

9 :30 Recreation Committee
10 :00 Planning Board
