A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the
office of the Town Accountant at 7:30 Monday evening, January
12, 1953 with the following members in attendance :
Leon V. Bateman, Charman
Raymond W. James Leslie C. Read
Gardner C. Ferguson James V. Macdonald
Thomas J . Don�zelly, J r . William Madden
Frank D . Walker, Secretary _
The minutes of the meeting held January 6, 1953 were pre-
sented and approved.
William Madden was welcomed as a new member on the Committee
taking the place of John J . Sullivan who tendered his resignation.
The Cemetery Commission, William Potter and George Hines came
in at 7:1+5 to discuss their 1953 requests . Left at : 20.
The Committee adjourned to the Selectmen' s room at 9 :00
P . M. to discuss the subjects of Water Construction and salaries .
Left at 10:15 . P.M.
The next regular meeting of the Committee will be held on
Monday evening, January 19, 1953.
The meeting adjourned at 11 :15 P . M.
