A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the
office of the Town Accountant, Monday evening, January 21, 1952
with the following members in attendance:
Leon W. Bateman, Chairman
Ralph H. Tucker Clarence E. Smith
Raymond W. James A. W. Cleveland
Ethel- U. Rich, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman
Leon W. Bateman.
The minutes or the meeting held on January 15, 1952 were
presented and approved.
Mr. Carroll came in at 7:30 to present his budget requests
for 1952. Left at 8:10 P.M.
Discussions on various budgets were held and some approved.
The Committee agreed to approve the request of the School
Committee to increase Mr. (xrindle's salary to 18, 000.
The following vote previously approved was rescinded and
the following is the new request :
Appropriation Committee - expenses $1, 250.00
A special meeting of the entire Appropriation Committee
will meet with the Board of Selectmen in the Selectmen' s
room at 1 :30 on Saturday P. M. , January 26, 1952.
The next regular meeting of the Committee will be held
on Monday evening at 7:30, January 28, 1952 with the following
agenda:
8:00 Miss Thompson
9:00 Public Welfare
Meeting adjourned at 10:30 P. M.
