Bateman, Chairman Howard A. Patterson Raymond W. James John J. Sullivan Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. Leslie E. Read Ethel U. Rich, Secretary The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman Leon W. Bateman. The minutes of the meeting held on December 4, 1951 were presented and approved. Two letters were presented and read at the meeting, a letter written to Harold E. Stevens by Chairman Bateman is on file in the records of the minutes, likewise the reply from Harold E. Stevens, Town Counsel. It was voted to transfer 406.L.3 from the Reserve Fund to the following: Town Clerk-Treasurers - Personal Services. Mr. Sullivan presenteda letter pertaining to Tax Assess- ment Study as follows : December 10, 1951 rt Appropriation Committee The Tax Assessment Study Committee held a meeting Tuesday, December 4, 1951 at 7:00 P.M. in the Town Office Building. The Secretary, Leon Garfield, called the meeting to order and announced that the Chairman, Don Clark, had tendered his resignation and the Selectmen appointed Fred Newhall. Fred Newhall was elected Chairman. The Committee decided to invite the taxpayers association committee to meet with the Tax Study Cpmmittee Tuesday December 11. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M. to allow the members to attend the taxpayers meeting in the Town Hall . Submitted by: J. J. Sullivan /s " --- -2- Alan Adams came in at 8:00 P.M. to present the budgets for the Planning Board for 1952. Left at 8 :25 P.M. Yr. Burns came in at 9 :55 to review his 1952 budgets for departments under his jurisdiction. Left at 11 o' clock. The meeting adjourned at 11:05 P. M.
