A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the
_ office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, December 3, 1951
with the following members in attendance:
Leon W. Bateman, Chairman
Ralph H. Tucker Clarence E. Smith
John J. Sullivan Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr.
Raymond W. James A. W. Cleveland
Leslie C. Read
Ethel U. Rich, Secretary
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman
Leon W. Bateman.
The minutes of the meeting held on November 27, 191
were presented and approved.
Mr. Chapin came in at 7:30 to go over his budget requests
for 1952, Veteran' s Services - Aid & Expenses , with the Comm-
ittee. Left at 7:55 P. M.
At 8 :15 the Board of Fire Commissioners, Mr. Roeder,
Mr. Sheldon and Mr. Pitzgerald, entered to discuss their 1952
budgets . A general review of their requests followed. This
Board left at 9 :15 P. M.
A short time was given to discussions pertaining to the
Recreation Committee budgets.
At 9 :30 P. M. the Appropriation Committee left to meet
with the Board of Selectmen in their rooms .
The next meeting of the Appropriation Committee will be
held Monday evening, December 10, 1951, with the following
agenda:
8:00 Board of Health
8 :30 Mr. Burns
Meeting adjourned at 10:45 P. M.
