APP'.ROPRIATION COMMITT}:E HELD ON
June 25, 1951
June 26, 1951
A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in
the office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, June 25,
1951 with the following members in attendance:
Leon W. Bateman, Chairman
Ralph H. Tucker Clarence E. Smith
Howard A. Patterson A. W. Cleveland
John J. Sullivan Thomas J . Donnelly, Jr.
Raymond W. James Leslie C. Read
Prank D. Walker, Consultant
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman
Leon W. Bateman. The minutes of the meeting held on June 18,
1951 were presented and approved.
Report of the Assessment Study Committee was presented by
John J . Sullivan, a copy of which appears as follows :

Assessment Study Committee
"The firstmeetingwas held at 8:oo P.M. , June 7, 1951, at
the Town Accountant' s Office to organize. Donald T. Clark
was elected Chairman and Leon B. Garfield, Secretary.
Lewis L. Hoyt and William C. Potter attended so that all
members of the committee were present.
The problem was discussed informally and the meeting was ad-
journed about 10:00 P. M. until next September.
Expressions of opinions by the members of the Appropriation
Committee or suggestions would be welcome.

It was voted to transfer $500.00 from the Reserve Fund
to Interest on Debt Account.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P. M. to attend the Special
Town Meeting held in Cary Hall.
