APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE
January 23, 1951
A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the
office of the Town Accountant on Monday evening, January 22, 1951
at 7: 30 with the following members in attendance:

Howard A. Patterson, Chairman
Clarence E. Smith William M. Hall
ozc Raymond W. James Ralph H. Tucker
John J. Sullivan A. W. Cleveland
Frank D. Walker, Consultant
The minutes of the meeting held on January 15, 1951 were
presented and approved.
Mr. Burns came in at 8:50, left at 9 : 20.
Welfare Board came in at 9:20 to discuss their 1951 budgets,
left at 9 :45.
Mr. Burns came in again at 9 :50 and left at 11:20.
It was moved that the Appropriation Committee go on record
as favoring a salary increase of 10% for all Town employees,
effective April 1, 1951: but in no case shall the increase
exceed $300.00 on an annual basis.
The meeting adjourned at 11:25 P. M.
