"i APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE
October 30, 1950
A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the
office of the Town Accountant on Monday evening, October 30, 1950 T;
with the following members in attendance:
Howard A. Patterson, Chairman
Clarence E. Smith John J. Sullivan
Raymond W. James Leon W. Bateman
A. N. Cleveland William M. Hall
Prank D. Walker, Secretary
The minutes of the meeting held on October 2t , 1950 were
presented and approved.
It was voted to rescind the motion on Article 6 and to
substitute the amount of $1360.
It was voted to send the following letter to James J . Carroll,
Treasurer, also a copy to the Board of Selectmen:
"James J. Carroll - Treasurer
Town Office Building
Lexington, Massachusetts
Dear Mr. Carroll:
At a special meeting of the Appropriation Committee held
October 30, 1950 it was voted to confirm the appointment of
Frank D. Walker, who has been engaged to act as special con-
sultant for this Committee from September 15, 1950 for as long
as this Committee desires his services and to pay for such
services from the Appropriation Committee - Expense Account
at the rate as determined by the Appropriation Committee for
such expenses incurred.
