APPROPRIAT ION COMMITTER
October 24, 1950
A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the office
of the Town Accountant on Monday evening, October 2L , 1950 with the
following members in attendance:
Howard A. Patterson, Chairman
William M. Hall Clarence E. Smith
A. W. Cleveland Leon W. Bateman
Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. Raymond W. James
John J . Sullivan
Prank D. Walker, Secretary
The minutes of the meeting held on Actober 16, 1950 were pre-
sented and approved:
It was voted to rescind motion on Article 12 and to substitute
the amount of 11150.00.
It was voted that the following policy of the Town of Lexington
be established by the Appropriation Committee:
"That there be no transfers from current or prior
appropriations to any other current accounts",
and to so notify the board of selectmen.
A further review of the Warrant of the Town Meeting to be held
October 30, 1950 was taken up and the following recommendations
were made:
Article 8 - Recommend indefinite postponement.
" 9 - Recommend appropriation of X7,000. and transfer
from E. & D.
" 10 - Recommend indefinite postponement .
" 18 - Recommend appropriation of w1,000. and transfer
from E. & D.
Meeting adjourned at 10:15 P. M.
