MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE HELD
December 31, 1949 at 9:30 A.M.
The meeting was called to order by Howard A. Patterson, Chairman
in the Town Accountant' s Office with the following members in attendance:
William M. Hall Emile J. Vadeboncoeur
Clarence E. Smith Leon W. Bateman
Thomas J. Donnelly Jr. A. W. Cleveland
Frank D. Nalker, Secretary
The following letter was read:
"Appropriation Committee December 30, 1949
Town of Lexington
Lexington, Massachusetts
DearSirs:
The Long Range Capital Outlay Committee has made
arrangements for the printing of its report and has ascer-
tained that the cost of such printing will be $500.00.
Accordingly, the Committee requests the Appropriation Comm-
ittee to transfer $500.00 to it for this purpose.

It was voted to transfer from the Reserve Fund the amount of
$500.00 to Lone Range Capital Outlay Committee.
Letter received. from Chairman Board of Selectmen in reference
to Law Department - Special Fees, requesting transfer.
It was voted to transfer from the Reserve Fund the amount of
$2, 165.00 to Law Dept. -Special Fees.
Chairman Board of Selectmen came in at 10:15 A.M. to discuss
easements in Liberty, Ledgelawn, area and it was voted to leave the
matter until 1950.
The meeting adjourned at 10:40 A.M.

Monday evening, January 9, 1950 at 7:30 P.M.
