MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE HELD
November 28, 1949 at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Howard A. Patterson,
in the Town Accountant' s Office with the following members in attendance:
Leon W. Bateman Emile J. Vadeboncoeur
Thomas J. Donnelly Jr. Robert W. Fawcett
A. W. Cleveland
Frank D. Walker, Secretary
Attending the School Committee Meeting were:

William M. Hall
Clarence h. Smith
The minutes of the meeting held on November 21, 1949 were presented.
and approved.
The Cemetery Commissioners: Albert Burnham, William G. Potter and
Gail Smith came in at 7:30 and discussed their budgets - left at 8:30.
The Fire Board: Harold Roeder, Chief Cook, Robert Fawcett, George
Hines, Bill Fitzgerald and Alan Adams came in at 8:30 and discussed
their b,:dgets until 9:30.
Jos. DeFoe, Public Works came in at 9.30 and thefollowing discussed '
budgets until 10:45:
Mosquito Control
Sewer Services
Highway Maintenance
Water Maintenance
Water Services
Howard Patterson then explained to the Committee what the Selectmen
were trying to do relative to obtaining the services of a Town Counsel.
As there were no added suggestions the Committee went on record that if
the Selectmen could obtain a suitable Town Counsel this Committee would
be willing to transfer 0200. or 0300. to the account to carry him the
rest of the year.
Meeting adjourned at 11:10 P. M.
