MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE HELD
October 17, 1949 at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Howard A. Patterson,
in the Town Accountant' s Office with the following members in attendance:
William M. Hall Emile J. Vadeboncoeur
Robert W. Fawcett Ralph H. Tucker
A. W. Cleveland Leon W. Bateman
Thomas J. Donnelley, Jr.
Prank D. Walker - Secretary
The minutes of the meeting held October 10, 1949 were accepted
"-) and approved.
"Pete" Cleveland gave report on dump.
Meeting adjourned to Selectmen' s room where joint meeting went
on with Jos. DeFoe in re: Dump. Returned to Town Accountant' s Office
at 9:35 P. M.
It was voted to transfer 01,500. from Reserve Fund to Dumps and
Ashes account and to recommend that in the future all excavation mater-
ial taken from all public works projects be used to facilitate the
covering of debris at the dump.

After looking over the anticipated expenditure sheets, it was
voted to OK as is.
Enclosed is copy of proposed vacation and sick leave schedule.
It was voted to adjourn at 10:30 P . M.

Note: The radio is estimated to cost about 04,500. to 05,000. What
do you think of a transfer from the Reserve Fb.nd for this in-
stead of an article in the warrant?
