CPAC Members Present: Chris Herbert, Co-Chair; Sarah Felton, Co-Chair; Marilyn Fenollosa; Hema Bhatt; Patrick Sullivan; Matt Daggett; Len Morse-Fortier; Deepak Amenani CPAC Liaisons Present: Bob Creech, Liaison to the Planning Board; Mark Sandeen, Liaison to the Select Board; Melanie Thompson, Liaison to the Planning Board; Joe Pato, Liaison to the Select Boa rd Staff Members Present: Carol Kowalski, Assistant Town Manager for Development; Molly Belanger, Land Use Planner Consultants Present (Project Co-Leads): Daphne Politis, Community Circle, Martha Lyon, Martha Lyon Landscape Architecture Meeting Materials: -Implementation Plan Introduction (25 key recommendations) updated January 20, 2022 • Meeting Opening Sarah Felton, Co-Chair called the meeting to order at 7:21 PM. • 25 Key Recommendations • Ms. Felton thanked the Project Co-Leads for their work on the Implementation Plan. • Chris Herbert, Co-Chair, began a discussion on the 25 key recommendations and welcomed the CPAC Members to comment, and several members gave their support or critiques. • Mr. Herbert asked the Project Co-Leads to explain the recommendations and how they were chosen. Daphne Politis, Project Co-Lead, mentioned the recommendations were meant as stepping stones that are necessary to lay the foundations for large, more difficult goals that can be found later in the following nine sections of the Implementation Plan. The order of the recommendations is random. • Status of Implementation Plan and process for Incorporating Feedback • Ms. Politis announced Volume I (The Plan) would be released soon, which incorporated comments submitted by the CPAC on January 31St • The CPAC should review Volume 1 by February 28th for general themes and information gaps. • February 17 Planning Board Meeting • Ms. Politis announced Volume I will be reviewed by the Planning Board. The Planning Board will discuss their opinions on the overall themes of Volume I at their meeting on February 17. Staff, Project Co-Leads, and Co-Chairs will be representing the CPAC at this meeting. Marilyn Fenollosa moved to adjourn the CPAC meeting, and Hema Bhatt seconded the motion. Sarah Felton took a roll-call vote to adjourn the February 9th CPAC meeting. The CPAC voted unanimously to adjourn. The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting of February 9th, 2022, adjourned at 9:35 PM.
