MEETING MINUTES
Wednesday, January 19, 2022
The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting was called to order by Sarah
Felton, Co-Chair at 7:11 PM virtually via Zoom.
CPAC Members Present: Chris Herbert, Co-Chair; Sarah Felton, Co-Chair; Hema Bhatt; Patrick
Sullivan; Matt Daggett; Len Morse-Fortier; Larry Freeman
CPAC Liaisons Present: Kathleen Lenihan, Liaison to the School Committee
Staff Members Present: Carol Kowalski, Assistant Town Manager for Development; Molly
Belanger, Land Use Planner
Consultants Present (Project Co-Leads): Daphne Politis, Community Circle
Meeting Materials:
-Draft meeting minutes of January 4, 2021
-Draft Implementation Introduction Template, dated January 4, 2022
-Draft Sustainability Goals, Objectives, and Strategies, dated January 17, 2022
-Draft Diversity Goals, Objectives, and Strategies, dated January 16, 2022

• Meeting Opening
Sarah Felton, Co-Chair called the meeting to order at 7:11 PM.
• Meeting Minutes
The CPAC reviewed and approved the meeting minutes of January 4, 2022.
Sarah Felton took a roll-call vote to approve the meeting minutes of January 4,
2022. The CPAC voted unanimously to approve both minutes.
• Review draft Sustainability and Diversity Goals
• Patrick Sullivan, Member, gave a summary of the Sustainability Working
Group's progress on the draft Sustainability Goals, Objectives, and Strategies
document. The CPAC discussed the contents of the document.
• Chris Herbert, Co-Chair, gave a summary of the progress made by the
Diversity Working Group's draft Diversity and Inclusion Goals, Objectives and
Strategies document. Mr. Herbert also presented the draft Diversity section
of the Implementation Plan.
• Next Steps and Schedule going forward
• Daphne Politis, Project Co-Lead, announced that all 10 sections of the
Implementation Plan will be released on January 2011, and the CPAC will have
two weeks to review the documents for a discussion at the next CPAC
meeting.
• Ms. Politis, Co-Chairs, and Staff will attend the Planning Board Meeting later
tonight to discuss a schedule for LexingtonNext with Planning Board
Members.
Sarah Felton took a roll-call vote to adjourn the January 19th CPAC meeting. The CPAC voted
unanimously to adjourn.
The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting of January 19th, 2022, adjourned
at 8:48 PM.
