June 26, 1972, in room 111, Town Office Building, Lexingtoh. Pre-
sent were Edward E . Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, Vice Chair-
man, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, J. Harper Blaisdell, Howard L.
Levingston, H. Bigelow Moore and Richard M. Perry, Comptroller .
The Chairman distributed a "thank you" note from Member Arthur
Bernier and Mrs . Bernier. The note is attached.
The Chairman informed the Committee that the School Committee will
not meet with us until possibly September 11th or 25th. The desired
meeting before July 31, 1972, the closing date for School reimburse-
ment requests to the State, will not be possible.
A letter to the Committee from J. Moss, of the Turning Mill Road area,
with respect to the installation of sewerage in that area, was read
to the Committee .
Comptroller Perry reported that Cherry Sheet receipts to the Town were
up $180,000. over last year. Assessments are $300,000. E & D will
be about the same as last year. T'ie tax rate is set at $65.00.
Meetings, for the summer months, are scheduled on July 17, 1972 and
August 14, 1972.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30-P.M.
