It was felt that there could be a possible S5. or $7. worth of re- quests for projects that were stalemated last year. The next meeting night is scheduled at 7:30 P.M., on September 27, 1971. Flynn Secretary The Appropriation Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, September 27, 1971, in the office of the Comptroller, Estabrook Hall, Lexington. Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, Vice Chairman, Arthur T. Bernier, J. Harper Blaisdell, Donald B. White and Richard M. Perry, Comptroller. The Committee discussed policy and guidelines for 1972 budgets . The Comptroller advised the Committee of the following possible Reserve Fund transfer requests: 1. Fire Dept.-Exp . engine burnt out on 412 pumper-had to be rebuilt . 1500 gal . tank had to be replaced on another engine-X5,100. 2 . Mtrd. mail-Exp. due to increase of 33 % in postal rates- more money will be needed in 60 days . The next meeting night is scheduled at 7:30 P.M., on October 4, 1971.
