Meeting of the Appropriation Committee, Monday, Dec. 30, 1968, 7:30 p.m.

Reserve Fund Balance $41,865.
Reserve Fund Requests
$500 transfer requested for Traffic recorder which was stolen while
operating on Adams St. near East St. This is not covered by insurance.
John McSweeney stated that it is needed to get information in order to
decide which traffic light requests should be acted on and to make
recommendations about Chapter 90 roads. These should both be done before
Town Meeting.
Voted to transfer $500 from the Reserve Fund
$3000 transfer to Group Insurance account requested. This would be
used for the final Blue Cross bills. It is needed because of the
additional people enroled and because of turnover of personnel (new
people at higher rates than those they replaced).
Voted to transfer $3000 from the Reserve Fund
$8800 transfer to Insurance, Municipal Property #1750 requested.
Fire insurance rates were increased and property values were adjusted.
Present balance is committed; expected bill is $8800 more than balance.
Voted to transfer $8800 to #1750 from the Reserve Fund.
Reserve Fund Balance will now be $29,565.
