White; L. Zehner; R. Souza Reserve Fund Requests Structure of Government Committee request has been reduced to $1500 because of savings to be made in printing costs. Voted to transfer $1500. Selectmen request $210 to supplement appropriation of June Town Meeting to pay for an award of damages for rights for the layout of Laconia St. Voted to transfer $210. Selectmen's election account #1900 was overspent because of the special election on the dog leash law. $225 is needed. Voted to transfer $225. Lrj �--I TMMA Meeting - Information meeting on finances will be held Dec. 4th. Selectmen, Capital Expenditures Committee and Appropaiation. Committee will participate. Warrant for March Town Meeting to close Dec. 13. Committee discussed the advisability of requesting an Article establishing a Personnel Committee. Town Manager act would place the responsibility for classifying employees on the Manager. It was thought better not to propose such an Article this year in the hope that the Town Manager plan is voted. If Town Manger is voted down, Personnel Board should be proposed as soon as possible. Data Processing - Dick Perry's committee will request permission to continue the study until 1970. Conservation Commission - Don Grant has talked to Mr. Sussman and Mr. Smith. $635,000 will be proposed. Selectman Cataldo wants plan money for Town Office, probably $25,000. Planning Board has a list of 19 parcels, totalling $550,000, which it recommends that the Town buy for conservation purposes. These include Additions to the West Farm Hayden Woods (5 parcels) Worthen Road land next to apartments Grapevine Ave. Vinebrook Grant Street Theyx would like to bond $500,000 and put $50,000 on tax levy. In addition to these parcels, on which Conservation Commission and Planning Board are in agreement, there are three items totalling $63,000 which Conservation Comm. recommends. Request a list of land purchased under Conservation, reimbursements received, and purchases which are pending. Recreation Committee wants $46,000 for 2 tennis courts at Harrington Drainage 2 tennis courts at Center Playground Valleyfield as neighborhood play lot Backstop at Estabrook School Appropriation Committee budget - agreed to request $3470 Selectmen's Meeting - discussed work sheet on tax rate estimates.
