Members Present: Suzie Barry (Select Board), Steve Cole (Community Representative), Steven
Conners (Reenactment Community Representative), Bebe Fallick (Tourism Committee
Representative)Julie O'Leary (Civic Representative), Paul O'Shaughnessy (Historical
Organization Representative), Jillian Tung (Music and Arts Representative), Barry Cunha (Local
Business Representative)
1. Meeting called to order: Ms. Barry at 3:35 pm.
2. Approval of Minutes:
• December 15, 2021 - Meeting Minutes were unanimously approved by roll call vote.
• February 9, 2022—After discussion and minor corrections, Meeting Minutes were
unanimously approved by roll call vote.
3. Video Update: Mr. Cole
• Rick Dorrington from LexMedia will be producing our video.
• Jeff Leonard will be providing music from the Bicentennial band.
• Rev. Christopher Haydon has agreed to do the Narration.
• We are gathering photos from the Historical Society, Lexington Library, and several
communities in the town.
• There was discussion about running the video in the historical homes, visitors center
and at our Annual Town Meeting.
• Ms. Fallick recommended that this video air all year long.
4. Logo Contest: Ms. Tung
• Two logos have been submitted.
• Contest closes on March 2, 2022, at S:OOpm.
• The Jurors will meet on March 10, 2022
5. Logo Discussion:
• Discussion of legal concerns, waiting on comments from Town council.
• Hoping for feedback by end of the year, intent is to launch in January.
• Suzie will coordinate with Jillian on rollout.
6. Working Groups: Ms. Barry
• Committee reviewed and discussed the working groups.
• Ms. Barry requested that each member of the committee choose three groups that
they would be interested in and email them to her.
• Ms. Barry requested that the committee start thinking about how we can involve the
community and volunteers
• Mr. Conners requested that we add to our agenda for our next meeting, a discussion
on community outreach meetings, to get input from the community.
7. Tentative 2025 Patriots' Day Weekend Schedule: Ms. Barry
• Committee agreed that we hold the Reenactment on Saturday
• Ms. Barry will discuss our proposal with the Select Board.
8. Committee Email & Correspondence: Ms. Barry
• Ms. Barry will request a Town email address for our committee
9. Reminder About Homework: Ms. Barry
• Members are to email Ms. Barry with the tree working groups that they wish to
work on.
• Members are to be thinking of potential volunteers to help with our working groups.
10. Next Meeting
• March 10, 2022 at 4:30pm
