Ms. Fenollosa called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm, followed by reading the guidelines for a
public meeting and for a meeting via Zoom.
1. Announcement: From information received from Bob Burbidge, Ms. Fenollosa
announced that LexHAB is withdrawing its request for Vine Street construction funds
from this year's recommendations to Town Meeting. Members of the LexHAB board
felt that the costs were too high to bring to Town Meeting and would seek other
alternatives for construction on the site. The full board will meet on Friday March 11 to
officially decide. Accordingly, when the CPC meets on Monday, March 14th, it will likely
vote to Indefinitely Postpone the LexHAB article [10(k)].
2. Transfers to Community Preservation Fund "buckets": Ms. Kosnoff described and
pointed out the transfer of funds to the CPF "buckets" because of the increase in the
State matching funds from 30% to 45.5%., a total of$790,261. A vote by Town Meeting
is needed to effect the transfers.
Motion: That the following adjustments be made to the estimated receipts reserved
for FY2022 as recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, and
approved under Article 10 of the 2021 Annual Town Meeting (moved and seconded,
respectively, by Charles Hornig and Lisah Rhodes)
