The Appropriation Commibbee met Monday, March 7, 1966 at 7:30 p.m.
in the office of the Town Accountant.
Present: Frank T. Parrish, Jr. Chairman
Oscar R. Carlson Robert M. Gary
J. Harper Blaisdell Allan F. Kenney
Logan Clarke Donald P. Noyes
Louis A. Zehner Mrs. Richard N. Souza
Raymond L. White, Secretary
Mr. Parrish stated that we are to meet with the Board of Selectmen
at 8:45 p.m. to go over some of the Articles not settled, such as:
Articles No. 51, 79 and 80 which involve the same piece of land.
To date the information is insufficient.
1.0 Article 97 — Putting fences around swimming pool.
r--4 Article 39 and 40
Board of Selectmen budgets #1000, 1050, 1100 were reviewed.
Tax Collectors budgets #2650, 2700, 2750 were reviewed.
Laconia Street Article #51 was reviewed.
Article X40, Fire Alarm — Committee voted against
. Harrington playground, $10,000. Appropriation committee voted against
A general discussion was had on School Committee P.L. 874 fund.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:15 p.m.

The Appropriation Committee met April 18, 1966, at 7:30 p.m. in the
office of the Town Accountant.
Present: Frank T. Parrish Jr. Donald P. Noyes

Organization Meeting
Frank T. Parrish, Jr. , present chairman, stated that there were no
Reserve Fund requests.
Election of Officers: Frank Parrish was elected Chairman, Ruth Souza
was elected Secretary.
Committee Members: The terms of Donald Noyes, Ruth Souza, and Louis
Zehner expire as of this meeting; all will accept reappointment.
Oscar Carlson has resigned from the committee. Several people were
suggested to fill this vacancy; Frank Parrish will inquire whether
Donald Grant (now Chairman of Historic Districts Commission) would
accept appointment if nominated.
Cherry Sheet will come out around May 15th, Al Grey reported.
Special Town Meeting will be called for June 20, 1966
Letter from John Carroll — more funds needed for Rte 2 pipe conatr.
- Conservation Commission has an Article for this meeting.
Selectmen have been interviewing people for the Comptroller position.
Mr. Collins of Public Welfare has called to check on the increases

in salary given other Town employees. (His salary schedule is
set by the State, however he would also like the Town increases)
