Parrish, Jr. Chairman J. Harper Blaisdell Louis A. Zehner Oscar R. Carlson Robert M. Gary • Donald P. Noyes Mrs. Richard W. Sousa Raymond L. White, Secretary The Chairman submitted the %genda for this meeting which is as follows: 1. Reserve Fund requests (a) Cemetery — Expenses — Personal Services (b Public Welfare — General Relief ltd c Health — Dental Clinic 2. Committee Reviews a) Teacher Salary Advisory b) Salary Schedule U (c} Long Range Plan d Public Works Building 3. Review of meeting with Town Meeting Members Association 4. Discussion of expenditures reductions 5. Discussion of outlook for Tax Rate 6. Reviewof Budget Forms and response 7. Other Business The present balance of the Reserve Fund is $37,068.79. A motion was made, seconded and voted to approve $3,000. from the Reserve Fund to Public Welfare Department General Relief Fund. A general discussion was had on appropriation items such as school teachers. 135 School teachers now at maximum $500,000 increase in teachers salaries Public Works Ruining. Board of Selectmen did approve going ahead to see J at could be done to the present wooden building. The building does not have decent toilet facilities. At our next meeting we should have a number of budgets receieved for year 1966. It was suggested that the Town Report should be reduced in size, thereby reducing the cost. It was suggested that the Town services be examined and re—priced. Also discussed was: Article 44 Civil Defense Welfare spending in year 1964 was $275,000.
